Prof. Yuval Ramot is an internationally recognized dermatologist and researcher, specializing in inflammatory and genetic skin diseases, as well as hair disorders. He earned his MD and MSc in Biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating with distinction, and completed advanced training in hair research at the University of Lübeck, Germany, supported by the prestigious Minerva Fellowship. ##MORE## At Hadassah Medical Center, Prof. Ramot leads the Service for Inflammatory Diseases of the Skin and is a prominent member of the Center for Genetic Diseases of the Skin and Hair. His research spans inflammatory skin conditions, genetic disorders, cutaneous toxicology, and the neuroendocrine regulation of skin and hair. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to 14 book chapters. Prof. Ramot is frequently invited to lecture at international conferences and scientific forums. He has received numerous awards, including the Young Dermatologist International Achievement Award and the Daniel Turnberg Fellowship, and serves on the boards of the European Hair Research Society and several high-impact journals, including Experimental Dermatology, Skin Health and Disease, and JEADV Clinical Practice.
